This procurement called 'EU SSA SP-COM-01 - (2) - NEO AND SWE TECHNICAL SUPPORT' is a competitive tendering for a technical expert service contract for the tasks entrusted to ESA in the Contribution Agreement between the European Commission and the European Space Agency in the SSA cooperation area. The procurement covers the provision of engineering and scientific services and deliverables for the implementation of the related studies and services, and the verification and acceptance testing of the deliverables from related industrial contracts. The expertise within this contract includes scientific expertise on Near-Earth Objects (NEO) and Space Weather (SWE), technical expertise on NEO threat mitigation missions and technical expertise on SWE spaceborne and ground-based instruments. All services in this activity are managed and delivered through the prime contractor’s Service Delivery Manager. The prime contractor also has the responsibility over all services delivered to ESA within the framework of this activity. The services are requested for 3 years plus an optional 1-year extensions providing the monitoring, test and validation services in 2024-2028.
